Very nice caring people, helped with emergency food box. Offered prayer and support and personal hygiene items, very Christian and kind and compassionate, highly recommend.

They require you to attend their “service” of over an hour before you’re allowed to have food. The food is all expired.

Most of the food I got was expired. They just throw things in your box even if you dont need them. Also, must attend church service first. Kinda poorly run. The Pastor? Hmm...a wolf in sheeps clothing. Kinda rude if you dont attend the service.

We went to this food pantry. We were decieved by the pastor, we were told that he would give us a short blessing, given a ticket and puck up our food. Well short blessing was 1hour and 15mins. We got our food, 2 boxes and 2 bags, we received meats, several milks, pita chips, crackers(alot). When we returned home we went through everything. Well those 2 boxes and two bags had to go in the dumpster. It was all out dated, thawed out, or opened. Bandanas black and had tiny flys in them. We got a fruit bowl but the open rotten chicken ooze got in it. It's really up setting that we go to a food bank and can't use any of it.

I went to this church food bank as a college student in need and was given food to help my family and other families in need. When I went to this church's food bank ministry I received some spiritual guidance and felt some real concern for not only my physical needs but also my spiritual needs as well. The food given out was what was donated throughout the week as it is not a government funded food bank and does not receive any help from the state or other social service agencies. They help anyone that says they have a need with no questions asked. The food given out varies from week to week. I have worked at the food bank ministry now for a number of years. The handi-capped and elderly and single parents are helped and also those addicted to drugs and alcohol and the homeless. All are invited to attend any of the services of the church if they want to. No one has ever been turned away for any reason. The members of the church carry out for the elderly and handi-capped and others with certain needs and difficulties and limitations. There is no limit on how many times a person can come and get food. You can come and get food for others in need as well. I hope this helps explain some of the comments made. The food bank supervisor does not allow those coming to the food bank to mistreat others. Also there is no smoking allowed nor swearing on church property and no loitering on the premises either..

I have been to this food bank several times. Church participation is required to receive any food from this pantry. It seemed like the entire sermon was directed at the people that were in need. The sermon made me feel quite uneasy. I am a christain and I know if the Lord saw what these people were pulling he would be very unhappy. The members of the church received the majority of the food given out. The so called pastor of this church was the rudest person I have ever met. What a poor example of christianity!

We have been to this pantry 2 weeks in a row & the first week we were treated very rudely by a gentleman that this week we found out was the Pastor of the church. This week we lined up like we were told & were 5th or 6th in line, which really didn't matter because if you were a member of the church you got first priority. The only food we received was all baked good along with individual servings of milk & the milk was all expired. We need food that can actually make meals for a family not just desserts & expired milk. How nutritious is that for a family??
