Pantry Details, hours, photos, information: JF&CS Family Table

JF&CS Family Table, the largest kosher food pantry in New England, provides healthy food on a monthly and emergency basis to individuals and families in need. Our mission is to alleviate hunger in a way that meets nutritional and spiritual needs.

Each household receives a complete set of healthy groceries including fresh produce, personal hygiene items, and Jewish holiday and ritual items such as challah and Shabbat candles. Given the documented link between good health and good nutrition, Family Table provides the healthiest food possible along with healthy recipes using food from our pantry to promote health among recipients.

In addition, Family Table connects clients to other JF&CS and community resources in order to provide holistic care. We serve individuals who come to us through referrals from JF&CS programs and the community. Every individual is treated with compassion and dignity.

Family Table relies on the tireless efforts of thousands of dedicated volunteers. Each month 65 area synagogues and day schools (including six new sites on the North Shore) collect, sort, pack, and deliver groceries for recipients. Families with children are welcome to volunteer. In this way, children experience hands-on tzedakah and truly come to understand that they can make a difference in the lives of others.
