      I am the secretary at the church the Abiding Love Food Pantry runs out of. The information on this site is out of date. The name is not the Open Doors Pads, it is Abiding Love. Our food pantry is on the first four Wednesdays of the month opening at 10:00 a.m. and closing at 1:00 p.m. It is for residents of Zion, Beach Park, Winthrop Harbor, and Wadsworth. Also the listed web address for the church is wrong. The correct link will be below. christianassemblyzion.org

    Pantry Details, hours, photos, information: Abiding Love Food Pantry at Christian Assembly of God

    Provides food pantry.
    Serving residents of Zion, Beach Park, Winthrop Harbor, & Wadsworth.

    Requirements:
    For first time visitors, provide proof of residency (driver's license, utility bill, etc.)
    Only one proxy per person with paper signed by both parties and a provided form of ID
    Only one box per household
    Selling the food given by this pantry is a state and federal offense subject to a fine of up to $25,000 and/or imprisonment up to 5 years.
    Disrespect of staff will not be tolerated (foul language, drunk and disorderly behavior, etc.)

    Violation of any of these guidelines will result with suspension from the pantry.

    Food Distribution Hours:
    Wednesday 9:30am - 1:00pm
    (Closed on the 5th Wednesday of the month)
