    Sacred Heart Social Concerns is a faith-based ministry serving the poor, the homeless, and those in need due to unforeseen circumstances (loss of employment, shelter, sickness, etc.) with an emergency distribution of food and/or funds for utilities or housing. In keeping with the mission of Sacred Heart Parish, we are committed to being an instrument of healing and hope by ministering to those in need and celebrating the Christ present in each of us.

    All requests for food and financial assistance must be directed to extension 112 (the Social Concerns extension) on the Parish Center phone line.

    Messages are reviewed every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (except Holidays) between 9:00 am and noon by a member of Social Concerns. The member returns each call at that time.

    Servers: Residents of South Plainfield. Clients do not have to belong to Sacred Heart Church.
