    The Little Closet Community Food Pantry is now fully operational. We serve the Samantha community. Also Northwest Tuscaloosa and Southeast Fayette Counties. A photo ID and proof of address such as a power bill, is required to receive service. We open the pantry to the public on the 4th Tuesday of each month from 4-6 p.m. For more information contact 205.534.3104. Our website is thelittlecloset.org The pantry is a ministry of the Good Shepherd Foundation (goodshepherdfound.org), a faith based, 501(c)(3) organization

Pantry Details, hours, photos, information: The Little Closet - A Community Food Pantry

The Little Closet is a ministry of Johnny Williamson Good Shepherd Foundation. It is located in Samantha, Alabama behind the Good Shepherd Statue on 43 North between mile markers 216 and 217. The pantry is a ministry of the Good Shepherd Foundation (goodshepherdfound.org), a faith based, 501(c)(3) organization


The building is currently under construction but we are serving needs on an as needed basis at this time. Once the building is completed we will open to the public on designated days.The Mission of Johnny Williamson Good Shepherd Foundation is to continue the legacy of love for others by providing support and assistance of daily essentials to individuals and families in the Samantha and surrounding communities. Our primary focus is to increase access to food for hungry people, and empower them to help each other thereby making our community a better place. We want to build up our community with encouragement and promote good will and relationship with our neighbors. That's how we come to find out each others needs, through relationships. It's not just food and clothing. We are responsible for our neighbors - Physical and spiritual well-being. We all need a hand-up from time to time.
A photo ID and proof of address such as a power bill, is required to receive service.
