    I wanted to know how I can get some food from the pantry I don't drive but can ride a bus and I not quite sure if I can tote it back is there any way you possibly can let me know if you deliver.

Pantry Details, hours, photos, information: The Greensboro Urban Ministry - the Gum Food Pantry

The Greensboro Urban Ministry Food Bank collects and redistributes  food that would otherwise be discarded that is still edible. Surplus food is salvaged from grocers, wholesalers, and gardeners.They also collect prepared and perishable foods from local restaurants and caterers.

Food Distribution Hours:
Monday Friday from 9:30 am until 3:30 pm.

No appointment necessary.

Requirements:

  • Photo ID
  • Copy of SS Card or official documentation containing your SS#.
  • Complete an application

Notes:

  • Groceries are distributed  twice per month for community members.
  • The amount of food received varies based on the number of people in the household.
