      How do I get free food for my household. Recently let go from job and have no food . I stay in Columbia .

      Hi, my name is Cindy and on Tuesday I was let go from a position I have held for years. I am a single person who lives paycheck to paycheck. I have been let go with all bills due including rent ,car payment, car insurance, the need for food non-food items, your daily living needs. I have filed for unemployment but I understand that’s gonna take a few weeks but God willing I will have a job quickly. In the meantime I’m in trouble I’m in need of help with food and I am applying for food stamps, but from what I understand that’s not gonna happen quickly either. The food banks have checked out in Columbia require that you were already on food stamps to get assistance. To make a long story short I’m asking if you could help me out with a little bit of food. I am a diabetic and gluten intolerant and would not need to take any of your bread or any food items like that that i cannot eat. Any assistance would be very much appreciated thank you for your time and pray God blessings upon your ministry in the name of Jesus Yeshua the living Son of God.

    Pantry Details, hours, photos, information: The Well Outreach

    The Well Outreach exists to be the hands and feet of Jesus by serving those in need through supporting spiritual, emotional, and physical growth.

    Serves: Maury County

    The Well began as a food pantry in a local church in 2006, with the goal of showing God's love by giving food to those in need. In 2009, The Well Outreach incorporated as its own entity, hoping to expand its reach to more of the community. It is now supported by the amazingly generous community in Spring Hill and surrounding areas. Numerous individuals, churches, civic organizations and businesses contribute on a regular basis to insure that no household in Spring Hill, Thompson Station, or College Grove is without food assistance when needed.
