      This is the most unfriendly, unwelcoming place of charity that I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. You will not receive service of any kind without a referral. After sharing your private personal financial information and providing proof of residency and proof of income and proof of any type of assistance you receive and all that info being saved in their system you're sent clear across town to pick up the food you need. The person that helped my elderly roommate acted like we were there trying to get over on somebody. They behaved like it was their food instead of free donations INTENDED FOR PEOPLE IN NEED which is exactly what we are. I feel sorry for anyone who is new to receiving help and has to have this place for their first experience. If it is please don't use this place as the standard bc most places set up to help folks in need are very warm and friendly, happy to see you and more than happy to offer you words of encouragement and understanding and never pass judgement. I am grateful to the people who donate with a spirit of giving and I'm also thankful that my roommate has a little less to worry about tonight
