    The staff was very friendly and helpful. After a sudden spinal cord injury I was unable to work, I loss all my income and needed help with food and electric bill; it was nice that they were very friendly.

Food Pantry Hours:
Monday, Tuesday and Friday
9:30am and 10:30am

Financial aid is available from 9:30 to 10:30 AM on Tuesday and Friday only. Clients must arrive before 10:30 AM to be served.

Bedford Christian Ministries operates a food pantry that distributes food to clients on a once-a-month basis. Clothing and household items are also available to clients. Additionally, financial assistance is available according to BCM guidelines to help with home heating fuel, electric, rent and medical and dental expenses. BCM services are available only to residents of the County and Town of Bedford.

Eligibility for Bedford Christian Ministries services is based on income andhousehold size, generally following USDA guidelines. Intake screening is required for all prospective clients to establish eligibility. Prospective clients must bring picture ID and proof of Social Security Number. Social Security Numbers are requred for otherhousehold members as well. Proof of income (employment, disability, SSI, etc.) and food stamp eligibilityis also required.
