    Golden Empire Gleaners provides food boxes to hungry people all over Kern County. There are a number of food programs including Sr. Sack and Volunteer for Food. Hours vary.

    Your gift of time is the greatest gift you can give.
    We have a variety of volunteer positions and opportunities available to fit your interests, talents and availability.Whether you would like to volunteer on an ongoing basis or for a special project, we have positions that fit your busy schedule. We rely on volunteerism in order to serve the number of people in need that we do every year. We work closely with those who need service hours to complete scouting projects, class requirements, or community service. Golden Empire Gleaners is always in need of volunteers. We are currently recruiting for drivers, receptionists, office help and special events. To get started, fill out the interest form on this page! We look forward to hearing from you!
