      We were so impressed by the orchestration of the Thanksgiving Day preps. Thanks for including us in such a complicated event, that amazingly ran so smoothly, and hopefully brought nourishment and joy to many people. I just sent a small donation for the 6th night of Chanukah, which is devoted to Tikkun Olam (repair of the world) and poverty awareness. Thanks! Yvonne and John

      Volunteering at The Bread of Life for my college course field work was truly a remarkable experience! Providing food to those in need with love and respect is the number goal. I recommend The Bread of Life for people to both volunteer and receive services. Serving the community with 1 million meals a year is true dedication! Thank you Bread of Life for your compassion and dedication to help make sure that people in need can eat! Much love and many blessings to all!!!

      Bread of Life has been one of the top 5 purchasers and distributors of free food in Eastern Massachusetts since 2003 (according to the Greater Boston Food Bank). In 2011 we provided the equivalent of over 891,000 meals to hungry, homeless and isolated people.

    Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
    5:30pm - 6:30pm
    Doors open at 5:15pm
    Location: First Baptist Church 493 Main Street, Malden MA

    Food Pantry Hours:

    Wednesday
    4:00pm - 6:00pm
    Friday
    2:00pm - 4:00pm

    Everett City Hall, 1st Floor, 460 Broadway, Everett*
    3rd & 4th Thurs.: 3:00pm - 5:00pm
    * You may receive groceries once every 4 weeks if you are a resident of:

    Serves: Malden, Medford, Everett, Melrose, Saugus, Stoneham, Wakefield, Reading, No. Reading or Winchester.
