Pantry Details, hours, photos, information: SECORCares

SECORCares serves the residents of Arapahoe, Douglas, and Elbert Counties who are struggling with suburban poverty.Effective Wednesday, June 2nd, we plan for our guests to return to in person shopping of our free food market. Guests will be able to shop and select grocery items directly.
In order to shop the following protocols must be adhered to:MASKS CURRENTLY REQUIRED - we will reevaluate this need over the coming weeks.
Requirements: Current guests must bring a photo ID & family number on green paper.New guests must provide a photo ID, current utility bill, or lease/mortgage statement.Guests can shop 2X/month with no less than 14 days in between shopping. A maximum of 2 adults per household will be allowed in the market at a time.Due to guest limits, we prefer shopping to be limited to adults only. IF a child must be present we ask the parent to wear a child carrier or that the child fits safely in the grocery cart seat (children 3 and under only).
Hours of Operation:
Wednesday and Thursday
9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Friday and Saturday
9:00 am - 1:00 pm
Current guests MUST arrive 30 minutes prior to closing/ new guests must arrive 1 hour prior to closing.
Volunteers:
There are a variety of opportunities for our volunteers, including:
Restock items in our free food market
Assist guests, one-on-one, with shopping
Help unload trucks with donations
Organize food donations in the warehouse
Pack, load, and drive Food for Thought bags for schools
Drive our truck to pick up donations from Costco, Sprouts, Target, Natural Grocers, etc.
Pick-up donations from 2 Kneaders locations
Christmas Outreach gift wrapping
Drive the Mobile Market
Special Events (as needed) And more!!!
Volunteers donate 2-4 hours per shift, on their chosen day(s) of the week. We are happy to work with you to accommodate your schedule to the best of our ability. Please email our Volunteer Coordinator, Monica (Monica.Aden@SECORCares.com) to schedule a tour and start volunteering with us.
