he Washington Community Food Pantry serves the Washington community in Warren County, NJ. It is housed within the First Presbyterian Church of Washington. The pantry relies on individuals, organizations, and local churches in order operate and support the mission to provide assistance to those in need.

Eligibility Criteria for Recipients
1. If you participate in one of the following programs, you are automatically qualified.
SNAP - Food Stamp Program
SSI - Supplemental Security Income
WIC - Women, Infants, and Children

2. Have a household income which does not exceed "The Emergency Food Assistance Program" income eligibility for USDA and commodities.

3. Clients need to be re-certified each year in September. Remember to bring your paperwork and photo identification.

Donations
We accept groceries, perishable, and non-perishable items during open hours Monday - Friday. The pantry has freezers and refrigerators. The pantry may also stock personal care items and household supplies.

All food and non-perishables are donated privately, purchased, or made available through the USDA and State Food Purchase Program.

We purchase meat, dairy, bread, and other items from monetary donations.
