I will NEVER again come to this food pantry again. I had came five consecutive weeks in a row without being told that I was supposed to only come once a month. The last time I had been to the food pantry was two weeks prior to Thanksgiving when the one lady which I don't know who she is but she is thin and tall told us that we should come for the Thanksgiving week so we can get our Thanksgiving box. We showed up today meaning myself and my mother of 72 years of age and we were turned away. We spoke with a heavy set lady named Sheila. she told us that we were only allowed to come once a month even though she knows that we come every week. I questioned her why we were never told that before and she did not have an answer. we proceeded to go outside when I met a friend of mine that also comes every week and I told her that she would not be able to go in and get her turkey box because we were only allowed to go once a month. My friend decided to go down and talk with Sheila and ask her if this was true. I followed my friend down into the basement where the food is handed out and I listen behind the door while my friend spoke with Sheila and asked her this question. Sheila's response was no problem I got you. I was in pure shock! I then confronted Sheila and asked her, do you get to pick and choose whom you give food to? why is it okay that my friend can receive a Thanksgiving box and a turkey and I cannot? She could not say anything but turn away from me. My mother was so upset she came down and started crying and said that she had no food to eat. What kind of people that run a food pantry especially in the church, in the house of our Lord does this? I was disgusted the way that this person Sheila made us feel like we were just common. This is not the first time that this woman has made me feel this way. She used to live next to my sister and the first time I ever encountered her was when I nearly ran over a little kitten next to her home and I stopped and let's feeding them a hot dog that I had in my car. Sheila had around 12 feral cats around her property that were starving to death and since I am an animal lover I had pity upon them. She had 20 ought steps leading up to her home and I was two steps up feeding these little kittens my hotdog when she approached her home got out of her vehicle and were shouting profanities at me along with her husband. Asking me what the f*ck I am doing on her property? Just attacking me for no reason. this woman is not godly and she does not belong in a food pantry serving food to people in need. I would like to report her. there have been many times where I have gone to the food bank and the doors were open and we are lead down to the basement and there are people already there that have already been given food and these people are not helpers. Needless to say we had nothing to eat for Thanksgiving thanks to her. Please contact me, you have my name I would like to be contacted by phone my telephone number is 610 554 6937. May God bless you!
