    This little place is stockpiled with some of the very best ladies with the kindest hearts! Miss Vesta is a true light in anyone's day. She always has a smile & never makes you feel like you are 'less' for being there for help. She has truly been a huge help to my family and our friends. ❤ Many people have come & gone from here over the years, but some have held their place in the hearts of many patrons who they helped in some way. Miss Mary has retired but still drops in with her beautiful grandson. We have watched him grow since birth & each time I see him, he looks more & more like his Daddy, may he rest in peace. Miss Kris is wonderful! She's like the auntie I never had, but always wanted to trade mine for. She's a wonderful lady with a heart of gold! Talking with her, trading recipe ideas for items present in the pantry, asking about family like we know them all! It's like walking in to an embrace of comfort when you enter God's Storehouse, because you know that when you leave, you'll be better than you were when you arrived. The pantry is a fluctuating degree of stock, as they all are. There are constants on the shelves & often times surprises show up. If you don't use some of the items offered, don't take them! Leave them for others who will! Don't complain about what's on the shelves to choose from .... be grateful & thankful that it's there for you to have the choice! The workers at most of these food pantrys/banks are volunteers! They graciously give of their time for YOU, so be respectful, courteous, appreciative and ALWAYS thank them all for their time and assistance to get you and your family through a few more meals that wouldn't otherwise be there! The ladies of God's Storehouse are always willing to help & I've NEVER seen or heard of anyone being turned away! They are extended family to us. I enjoy bringing them baked goods or canned items I've made with the food I received from them. They enjoy receiving the treats and I'm pretty sure they don't mind eating them!! Their prices on clothing & household items, shoes, movies, etc., are beyond reasonable. They have sales running all the time! Even if you aren't in need of assistance, go check it out, or donate to them. You'll be amazed at what you can find hidden on shelves or stuffed in between clothing items on the racks! Great quality, name brands that are outrageous prices elsewhere are a fraction of a fraction of those high prices! Carhartt camo jeans for my hubby, almost brand new, $5!!! Designer brands! Something for everyone! They can always use the support of your donation and/or patronage! I look forward to seeing you there!

9:00am - 4:00pm

God's Storehouse is NOT a religious organization. It's a food pantry only, under Food For Lane County's Rules & guidelines . There are no free clothing or household goods, everything except food must be purchased by cash or check.
