      We have a surplus of 9,000 shopping totes from a brand program last year and would like to donate the tote bags to a local cause if someone know if there is an immediate location we would be able to ship the totes.

    Pantry Hours:
    Monday and Wednesday
    9:00am - 12:00pm
    Thursday
    4:30pm - 6:30pm

    No documentation requirement.

    Metro Relief has a food pantry on location which provides groceries and referrals for other services as needed. We offer weekly assistance to families who have a need regardless of their current economic circumstances. Prayer, encouragement, and tangible support are available to each person who walks through our doors. Our goal is to be invested in each family by providing help with basic needs, and by offering help with resolving the difficult circumstances they may be experiencing.

    Donated food
    The Metro Relief food pantry, formerly known as The Storehouse, began as a ministry of Horizons church in The Colony, TX in 2006. We serve The Colony and beyond, and we strive to never turn anyone away. Guests may visit the pantry once a week to receive supplemental help with groceries. We have always been a client choice pantry by giving guests the opportunity to choose their own groceries according to their needs.

    The vast need represented by the unemployed and those who are financially strapped, are quickly depleting food pantries across the country. In an effort to meet the growing needs in our area, Metro Relief partners with The North Texas Food Bank. This alliance allows us to receive groceries at a reduced cost, and helps us to keep the pantry shelves full in tough economic times.
