      CHARITY IS FOR THE NEEDY- NOT THE GREEDY- saturday-08/25/2018 i gratefully and humbly visited ICM food &clothing bank-willing to accept whatever assistance in food i could get from the grace of ICM- there were greedy scavengers intermixed with the needy- i overheard and saw remorselessness greed- i overheard several woman bragging about abusing the services- visiting one (maryvale) center twice monthly and then coming to ICM twice monthly- i saw a well dressed male-going from vehicle to vehicle scavenging whatever he could- if the people had more than one box of rations- he would talk them out of one and he had an eerie grin on his face-as if there was humor in his greed - circumventing the hour long wait in line to receive services-people had waited in line for an hour-this one lady just walked up to where one of her friends was being serviced- and she was given a ticket by one of the volunteers to receive clothing and food- by the look on her face it was obvious she had done this before and like the well dressed man had an eerie grin on her face as if to say -'i got over on the system' a state i.d. is required and written proof of residency with your address on it to get a ticket too enter the building-their was a person who was giving out tickets to people who had no i.d. and no proof of residence- i know the volunteers are their to help the needy- some are giving a- green light- to the greedy scavengers-the volunteers that were handing out the food started coming outside telling the people that were standing in line following the rules that they were running out of food- of course they were running out of food- the greedy scavengers had gotten the cream of the crop and if the food ran out those waiting in line would just be s.o.l.

    Monday - Friday
    9:00am - 11:00am. No appointment is necessary. Please bring an ID with you

    A food box
    A change of clothes
    Shampoo, soap and other toiletries
    Food stamp sign-up
    Nutrition bags for small children
    Free medical care on-site

    Another service we provide is case management for those clients who are having problems with housing, employment, disability or social security payments, food stamps and other life's necessities.
