      I have been going to Open Door Food Pantry for several years. Each month I go I have experienced a pleasant attitude from all the volunteers there. Everything is in an orderly fashion and the smileing faces when you come into The Open Door is always a plus. There are alot of families who struggle buying food on a daily basis. Families also show up to get food because they are low at the end of the month. I just wanted to write and say Thank You to all volunteers, for taking the time out, to serve us with a Smile each day and also serve us with true compassion in the interest of our daily lives. A smile and a kind word goes a long way! Thank You again to all volunteers for serving The Freehold Community! God Bless all.......

    Freehold Area Open Door, Inc. (Open Door) is a non-profit 501(c3) interfaith agency that provides emergency food, emergency funding, mentoring and scholarships to those in need from the Freehold area. It is administered by a 16 member volunteer Board of Trustees, 2 part-time salaried employees and over 150 volunteers. Open Door provides the following 4 programs: a Food Pantry Program, an Emergency Funding/Advocacy Program, an After School Program and a Scholarship Program.
