      Went here for over a year. Fantastic folks. till one day a different woman was there. (claimed she was the director - I have no idea if that was true or not) She said I could not get food there since I had a Bluefield address and then pretty much called me a liar when I said I had been coming there for over a year and that my address was verified every time. She asked a man and he said I could have food that day but couldn't come back since I had a Bluefield address. (I am FAR closer to Princeton than the actual city of Bluefield) Before I left she finally admitted that I had been there the previous month. Their records should show I had been coming for over a year. She was very hateful and terse. (I will never understand why folks that seem to hate poor people end up in jobs helping them) Not sure why a Mercer county food bank would discriminate against half the county. I guess she decided to change the rules after a whole year. Was very disappointing. Everyone else there was fantastic. Do not bother if you do not have a Princeton address as they discriminate against the rest of the county. If you have a Princeton address, then it is a fine place, although according to my pastor severely under utilized.
