      Today I went to Waxahachie Care and the Director refused to give me food. They said they needed proof of my Address . I U took my Daughter with me to virify my address and the Director still refused to give me food. I told her to please let me have food she said NO.

      I use to go to the food pantry. Once a month I would show up fill the paperwork out and pickup some food . The rest of the month my wife and I would make it by . I have turned down 3 surgeries , I have 4 doctors that keep me running . I take 11 types of medications , two inhalers and use a C.O.P.D. machine and a Nebulizer to help me breath . I am on disability do to pain from body injuries . My social security after my insurance and medication is taken out I get around $1,300 dollars a month. My wife works on a bad knee on her feet for hours a day. She makes about $470. every two weeks . She stays at work at lunch to help with gas use. I need to pay two of my doctors for office visits. I need too pay Baylor Hospital for things they did to keep me living . We have 4 loans out we pay on,this is how we live , pay doctor bills , get food , get medication , and this month pay rent $780.00 a month and $150.58 for electrical. gas for the car about $55.00 a week or more . Auto Insurance is $65.00 a month. The loan payments is hi per-month . Clothing and food per month is very hi . But to get to the point,One day my wife and my self went in and the lady that runs the pantry and her helper ask that I give them a list of my Doctors and what I pay them , a list of all my medications and what I pay for them , a list of loan companies showing why I took out the loan , they said they would but they did not ask why I took out the loan. They said if I wanted they would give me that letter . H.E.B. did not understand why a food pantry needed a list of my medication and cost unless they want to pay for them,I told them they were not going to. My doctors asked the same thing 'why do they need this information are they doctors,would they understand what or why we did something ' In the past I asked if they needed a list of my medications and what Doctors I go to and they said they did not need it . I do not understand what happen or why it happened . All I know is this pantry has made my life very hard now. .
