      I need some help with food. Please let me know if I have to preregister.

      This pantry takes a lot of gas to utilize....first you must go to a church located approximately 3 miles one way away to register then drive to the place you pick up the food. The wait time is great, and in the winter it's not bad to sit with your car turned off. But try doing that in summer, I had great difficulty with the heat, and when I tried to leave my car running with the air on..it over heated. I got a neighbor to give me a ride, so I could be a walk up....the food pantry workers did not like that!

    Notes:
    No deliveries. Clients must drive their vehicles to 4730 Lakeland Highlands Rd. a large parking area. Pick up a voucher and then will be released and drive to pick up food at 2150 East Edgewood Dr. Lakeland, FL.

    Tuesdays 10:00 AM -12:00 Noon

    Volunteering Information:

    Volunteers are needed Tuesdays 6:00 AM - 1:00 PM No open toe shoes or flip flops. Closed toe shoe only. Must be able to handle 5-10 lb. bags.
