    Pantry Details, hours, photos, information: Radical Heart at Hermitage Food Pantry

    Open to the Public:
    Wednesdays, 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.
        Limit: 10 families for clothing, 50 families for food
        First come, first served
    Thursdays, 10:00 – 11:30 a.m.
        Limit: 10 families for clothing, 40 families for food
        First come, first served

    Monthly Limits:
        Food: once per month
        Clothing: once per month
        Food and clothing cannot be received on the same visit.

    Eligibility:
    Guests must meet statewide income eligibility guidelines to receive food or clothing.

    Food Pickup Process
        Stay in your car upon arrival.
        A Parking Team volunteer will assign you a spot in line.
        A volunteer will register you.
        If eligible, you will receive a pre-packaged food box plus additional items (varies weekly).
        Your volunteer shopper will deliver the food directly to your vehicle.

    Clothes Closet Process:
        Arrive during open hours.
        Stay in your car until a volunteer gives you a spot in line.
        When it’s your turn, a Radical Heart volunteer will escort you inside.
        Only one family member may enter and shop on behalf of the household.

    Assisting Homebound Individuals:
        You may pick up food on behalf of a homebound person.
        A proxy form will be provided and must be completed by the homebound individual.
        Return the signed form to Radical Heart when convenient.

    Volunteering with Radical Heart:
    Welcome new volunteers whether weekly, monthly, or occasionally.

    Steps to Join:
        Fill out the interest form 
        Shadow a current volunteer to learn about the role(s).
        Join the team with an open heart and servant spirit.

    Donation Guidelines:
    Drop-Off Hours
        Church office: Monday–Thursday, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
        Sunday mornings: Donation bins in the main lobby and Door 14 entrance.
    Food Donations
        Acceptable: shelf-stable items (canned vegetables, beans, soups, fruit, pasta, rice, cereal, peanut butter, oatmeal, coffee, etc.).
        Not accepted: expired, opened, or damaged items.
    Clothing Donations
        Acceptable: all sizes of men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing/shoes in good condition.
        Not accepted: used undergarments, stained/torn items, items with odors.
        New undergarments and socks are always appreciated.
    Other Donations
        Acceptable: unopened hygiene/cleaning products (shampoo, soap, detergent, deodorant, etc.), purses, duffle bags, suitcases, blankets, winter gear, unused towels, baby diapers, wipes, and formula.
        Not accepted: baby gear (cribs, car seats, highchairs, etc.), toys, books, or miscellaneous household items.

    * Important: Please call the food pantries to confirm that the hours have not changed. We do our best to provide full information and details, but food pantries often change their hours without notifying us. We do not want you to waste your time visiting a pantry that is not open.
