Metro Caring operates one of Denver's largest hunger relief programs, including a fresh foods shopping market, teaching garden, and weekly healthy living and nutrition classes. Situated in the heart of Denver, Metro Caring distributes between 4,000 and 6,500 pounds of food, baby items, and personal care products in helping to meet the nutritional and health needs of up to 500 people every day. Food Bank Hours: Tuesday & Thursday 9:00am to 11:15am Saturday check-in is from 9am to 9:30am Requirements: Clients must have a picture ID and proof of address. If a client comes on a Tuesday or Thursday they cannot come on a Saturday in the future. This is also for Saturday clients. If they come on Saturday they cannot come on a Tuesday or Thursday in the future. Clients can use the food bank 1 time per week. The Weinberg Food Pantry will be providing pre-packed boxes of food to anyone experiencing food insecurity with no documentation or sign up needed.
